What Is Series 2 Baseball?
Building upon the foundation set by Topps Series 1, Series 2 Baseball offers collectors with additional inserts, parallels and newer list of players which were missing in the Series 1 Baseball. One of the most exciting aspects of the 2024 Topps Series 2 release is the reduced production run as compared to Series 1.

The 2024 Topps Series 2 Checklist Baseball Overview
In all, there are 350 cards (#351-700) in the base set, which is a continuation of the first set of 350 cards in series 1, including Rookies, Team cards and a bunch of combination cards featuring two or more players. Rookie players that make the highlight of the set include:

Returning for the 2nd time since last year is the Golden Mirror Image Variations (SSP) of the base set which has the replica design of the base set, but with a New Image and a Gold Foil back. Chase all 350!
Another Variation is the Team Color Border Variation (SSP), which, as the name suggests, has borders matching the color of the team logo.
Autograph: The Biggest Hits
Autographs are a must from the Topps Series 2 Checklist that have the potential to recover your entire box’s spending. Especially if it’s an autograph from a Rookie Player, say Evan Carter.
A hoard of NEW inclusions is accompanied by several staples. For instance, the Baseball Star Autographs which had a dual autograph (#’d/10 or less) variation in series one, will now have a NEW! Triple Autograph (#’d/5) set as well.
An autograph set that features a mix of rookies, stars, and retired greats with the card design inspired by the 90s is the NEW! 1989 Topps All Star Baseball Autograph Cards. Beware that the set is different from the already present 1989 Topps Star Baseball Autographs, which is a continuation from the series one.
The Chrome variation of the 1989 All Star Baseball requires a special mention, which is a silver pack exclusive available only in Hobby and Jumbo boxes. Similarly, other variation cards include the 2023 First Pitch/Play Ball Autographs (#’d/99 or less) featuring CJ Stroud.
NEW! to this set is the ultra-rare Dynamic Dual Autographs (/10), which is a Hobby and HTA Jumbo Exclusive too.
A Daddy Yankee Signature Tunes Dual Autographs (/25) is an Easter egg addition. The NEW! 40/70 Autographs (/10) is a tribute set to Ronald Acuna Jr. displaying his 2023 stats of 40+ home runs and 70+ stolen bases.
Furthermore, Autograph Relic sets form a major part of the set too. Major League Material Autographs (#’d/50 or less) and the famous Heavy Lumber Autograph Relics (#’d/10) are two such examples.
Moreover, City to City Autographs (#’d/99), Significant Statistics Autographs (#’d/25), and Cut Signatures (1/1) are among the other signature sets.
Memorabilia: From Player to You
Memorabilia-only content comes in five different sets. For starters, there are Major League Material Relics having parallels like Black (#’d/199), Gold (#’d/50 or less), Red (#’d/25 or less), and Platinum (1/1), which is Hobby and Jumbo Exclusive.
Another staple of the set is the 1989 Baseball Relics having the same parallels as the above set. Just like the autographs of the set, there is a NEW! 1989 Topps All Star Baseball Relics set which is a 53-player checklist.

Other Inserts: Additions to the Set
It won’t be wrong to say inserts are the hero of the Topps Series 2 Checklist. Firstly, the NEW! unique insert is the Around the Horn, displaying infielders in a ball-throwing position.
NEW! City to City feature player with code names of prominent airports of the city. For instance, Aaron Judge with an LGA code backdrop representing LaGuardia Airport.

Not leaving behind anyone, Series Two has a bunch of Retail-exclusive inserts. The Mega Box gets a special treatment with three NEW! inclusions.
